Review | LUSH Lip Service Lip Balm

One of the most classic Lush products is this lip balm - Lip Service. They have been selling it for over a decade and it's one of their bestsellers! It's a great product! And don't let the name fool you! One of the reasons this product is so popular is because it's not only great for you lips, but also for your heels, toes and cuticles! It's amazing! You can basically use it whenever you skin needs a little love. It has a very fresh, citric scent - I love it!

It comes in a super cute, small, round metal tin with a cute black label. I love anything that comes in a cute tin container!
This product is a little bit strange for me, it actually feels like a solid -- at least during winter. And you need to kinda warm it up with your finger. It feels a little bit waxy at first -- and to be honest for a moment I thought that this product was going to suck -- but after couple of uses it became so much creamier, easier to apply, and super moisturizing! It is not tinted, but it leaves a glossy finish on the lips, while the product skins in. It really leaves my lips soft, smooth and really hydrated. Because I have braces, my lips are always cracked. Always. And applying this balm two or tree times a day and right before going to bed really helps with this!

The only complaint I have tho, is that you apply it with your fingers. This means I have to touch the product with my dirty hands. It bothers me slightly, I'm not going to lye. But it hasn't stooped me from using it every single day.

Quick Tip #4 | Garnier Micellar Water

I know I'm late for the party and that everyone has already raved about this. But this Garnier micellar water is really, really good. I couldn't go by without saying anything.

My ultimate favorite is from Biafine but unfortunately it's not sold in Portugal. My runner up is from Bioderma but it's way too expensive specially for the rate that I go through each bottle.

I use it twice a day and it really helps cleaning and toning my skin. It's the cleaning part that I'm mostly interested. I wash my face with soap and water and then I get cotton-pad soaked in this product and I rub it all over my face. You should see how much yucky stuff comes off my face -- even when I've just washed it!

-- Please be nice and supportive and click on at least one of the pictures! I'd do the same for you. Thank you! --

Review | LUSH Serendipity Soap

For while now I've been really into things that smell of lavender. I've always liked this sense. I don't know exactly what is about it, but whenever I smell it, it just makes me feel cozy, and clean! I feel clean whenever I shower with something that smells like lavender, it is kinda weird, I know.

Lavender is great, and it has a bunch of benefits to the skin! Lavender has antiseptic and anti-fungal properties, and is often used for treating yucky skin problems, it helps balancing the skin, helping to calm it, helping skin to regenerante and to properly heal. Supposedly, it helps acne, it strengthens hair, helps get rid of dandruff and oily hair. And, most importantly -- it smooths our cellulite! Lavender improves circulation, and prevents stretch marks and dispels fluid retention, thus helping with the appearance of cellulite!

So yeah, showering with a lavender-thingy every day sounds extremely beneficial! This is why this Lush soap has become one of my shower essentials! It's called Serendipity and it's a little slice of heaven. It smells so good. My whole bathroom smells like lavender, just from having this soap sitting around. It even has little lavender flowers mixed in, that fall in your bathtub as use the soap. I like to use a shower puff, thus I just rub the soap on my puff until it is full of foam and I wash my body with that. It lathers really nicely, creating a soft -- slightly purple -- foam. It is made with all fresh and natural ingredients, and I love it. I doesn't make my skin feel dry, but clean and tight. It's definitely my favorite.

I am going to the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone Cine-concert.
Basically is a screenplay of the movie with an orchestra playing the soundtrack.
Sounds amazing. It's two months away and I'm super excited.

Remember when I asked you for help... ?

Do you remember when I asked you for help, about the difficult decision of choosing a new perfume to buy?

Well, me being me, I bought one that wasn't on that list. I went shopping with my mom, and she ended up pushing me into this one - Chanel Chance Eau Tender. She said she thinks it's more sober but yet young. Honestly, I'm not sure I'm in love with this fragrance. Some times I smell it and I love it. Some times I smell it and I hate it. I'm wearing it for the first time today. Let's see how it goes. It's Chanel anyway. You can't go wrong with anything Chanel.

Review | liner.designer by beautyblender

After reading about this product on Elisa's blog, I had to run to Sephora to get it! This is exactly the type of things that I really enjoy trying out!

I suck at making any sort of straight-ish line. Really. I couldn't draw a straight line not even if my life depended on it. Much less, on my eyelids! I feel like I can't even  call my self a blogger since I can't really do my eyeliner or a winged eye! You girls have amazing skills that I do not own! So yeah,  you can see why I had to get it.

This is the Beauty Blender Liner Designer. It promises to help you perfectly make any line on your face. It's from Beauty Blender, so I was already expecting good things! Inside that pink cute box you have the device, a 5x mirror and a suction cup for you to stick your mirror anywhere, at eye level. The mirror is a cool addition. Specially because you are paying 16€ for a little piece of pink silicone.

It looks like a cute pink guitar pick, but its made a soft silicone that literately sticks to your face. The idea is that you use the edges as a template to draw the line. You put the thingy against your face, press it down so it sticks, and you can just follow the line. Sounds like magic! But does it work? Well, yes it works. But you do need to practice with it for a while... You still need a steady hand, or the line will look strange. But overall it's really helpful. Specially when it comes to making the wings match, it's much easier to get the length and angle right on both sides.

Is it worth the money? Well, to be honest, No. I don't think so. Since I bought it, I played around with it, got it to work, but honestly I only really used it once. It's not that practical, and I think that you pay too much for what you get. It's a cool gadget tho.
