Disney Plus

Disney is finally lunching a Steaming Service in Portugal -- Disney+! I'm so excited! It's not really available yet, and they don't say when it is going to be available, but it's somewhere in 2019! There's already a website were you can sign up to be notified of any news. They say the price will be cheaper than its direct competitor - Netflix - that carries some Disney content. In addition to having available all the movies, they will also have some exclusive content, including a new Star Wars Series!

GUCCI CHINESE NEW YEAR COLLECTION 2019

Fashion designers have always taken a liking to Disney Characters. Specially for those really classic ones. In 2016 Kenzo launched a a capsule collection in collaboration with Disney to celebrate the release of "The Jungle Book" remake, and last year Coach put an edgy spin on our Beloved Disney princesses for its Disney x Coach collection. And now it's time for Gucci to release some Disney goodies.

With the Chinese New Year quickly approaching, Gucci is celebrating the Year of the Pig with the lunch of 35 pieces -- women's and men's ready-to-wear, luggage, small leather goods, shoes and jewelry -- all adorned with Three Little Pigs motifs, a Disney movie produced in 1133. They also play around  on the saying that “pigs might fly”, and they’ve created three lovely fashion jewelry pieces that feature a pig with wings -- which I think are my favorite pieces of this collection! The little pink ping with wings brooch is just the most adorable thing.

Launching on February 5th -- the day Chinese New Year begins -- the classic Disney cartoon characters will be featured on some very Gucci's Iconic pieces. I'll leave you here some of my favorite pieces but you should totally check the full collection on Gucci Website.
Just don't fall in love with anything... Everything is super expensive.

How to become Belle

Over the years, Disney hasn't always been known for creating strong female role models. In part, that’s been down to the era their movies have been made in; films such as Snow White or Sleeping Beauty, reflect the attitudes toward women at the time - which is to say that the girl stays at home, happy to perform chores while waiting for a Prince to come and sweep her off her feet.

But in Beauty and the Beast we have Belle. She is the girl that everyone wants to be. She is beautiful, graceful, strong and smart! There are undeniable aspects of strength to this character: Belle loved books while other girls in the village only focused on their appearances in order to land a man. She fought back hard against Gaston’s advances, and wasn’t afraid to tell the Beast that he was rude. And even though she may have suffered from Stockholm Syndrome, she is indisputably one of the strongest classic Disney characters. Who doesn't want to be like Belle?

How to become Alice

Alice in Wonderland was always one of my favorite movies growing up. The simple, brilliant concept of a child finding a portal to another world, is just amazing. Who wound't want to find a magic world, filled with magic creatures, tea-parties and a crazy Mad Hatter?
I've chosen a nice white and blue dress, and a few accessories that go with it, that I think all have subtle references to the character! What do you think?

How to become Rapunzel

I'm really enjoying making these "how to become..." posts! It is so much fun to thing about how would a Disney movie character look if she was a real person! This time, I chose Rapunzel. I really like this character, I think she represents a super strong, practical girl, and that's what I tried to show trough this outfit. I know the dress isn't exactly the same colour as hers but I just liked it so much! I also included a key-shaped key chain, because, you know, she was locked in a tower...

How to become Jasmine

Last time I made a post like this I had such a nice feedback that I've decided to do another one!
To be honest, I really like to see this type of things. I love Disney and everything about it, and to think about how wound the caracteres look like if they were living among us is really fun! For Jasmine, I chose a flowy blue dress, some flat sandals with some golden details, and some cool accessories! And I would totally wear this look!

How to become a Mermaid

Ok. I don't know how you can actually become a Mermaid. But I know Mermaids are super trendy and everybody is obsessed with mermaid stuff -- including me! So I've been looking around for some Mermaid inspired stuff, but completely wearable.

 I think, all this stuff I've picked out, could make the perfect summer outfit and would make you feel like a magical creature from the seas. It's also think this is what hipster Ariel would wear today.

This song always reminds of Disneyland Paris closing show, and today I was looking through some pictures from when I was there and this song immediately popped in my head.
