Boi-ing

I've been loving this little pink pot. It's my little helper on rough mornings. Specially because since I've completely dropped my morning routine and now the only thing I do is to lightly cover my dark circles and put on mascara and lipstick.

This is Benefit's Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer on shade No 2, and it's amazing. It is super creamy, super easy to apply and super easy to blend with your fingers. This shade is actually pretty perfect for my skin, specially for my eyes --  It covers all the darkness and redness and it looks fairly natural. I love using it on my eyelids and on my dark-circles. I don't wear foundation on a daily basis because I don't have many blemishes or scares, and I often just opt to apply bit of concealer to cover some occasional red-ish spots.

REVIEW | VASENOL Intensive Care Spray Body Lotion

I think that everybody here already knows that I'm one lazy-ass girl. Specially when it comes to skin care. Although I absolutely love to take care of my skin, and I love to use all these awesome products, I'm extremely lazy. But thank god, some brands think about girls like me. And for me spray-on moisturizer is one of the best innovations ever!
This is the VASENOL Intensive Care Spray Body Lotion. And yes, it's the easiest way to apply moisturizer to your whole body in like two seconds. It is available in a few different fragrances -- I don't wanna lie but I think I saw a vanilla one, and a chocolate one --  but since I'm weird with smells I went, obviously and as usual, for the one without any scent.

This is super easy to apply: You just shake it well, and you spray all over your body. After that you can just lightly rub the product in and you are DONE. It honestly takes 1 minute. It's a very light mist, really small particles that gently coat the areas that you spray. After you rub it in, it dries super-fast and it's not sticky at all.

And actually, this is perfect for summer and amazing for traveling, since there's virtually zero chance this will get open on your suit case and leave your clothes full of moisturizer...

EVIAN Brumisateur Facial Spray

If you have never used a facial mist before, you've been missing out on something good.
It's a great way to quickly rehydrate your parched, dried skin, or even to set your makeup.

My favorite is definitely the Evian Brumisateur Facial Spray and this has been a stable on my beach bag. I like to use it to refresh my skin when I'm just sun-bathing. It's a spray, so I just mist my face, décolletage and chest area, and this leaves me feeling cool and refreshed as it quickly gives back some of the moisture my skin is loosing by standing under the sun.

I've also enjoyed using it as na extra step for cleansing and toning my face, along with my regular skincare routine. It's supposed to help balancing the skin pH because of it's unique mineral balance.

There are other face mists -- or thermal waters -- on the market, but this is the cheapest I've found. And it can be bought at you regular supermarket.

Vichy sunscreen is the best. It's my favorite. And I absolutely love this line -- Idéal Soleil Bronze -- not only protects yours skin but helps you tan faster. The formula is great -- fluid, not sticky at all, really easy to apply. Absolutely perfect!

Morning Face Routine V2.0

The last time I showed you my Morning Face Routine was 3 years ago. Somethings have changed. But one thing hasn't -- it's my get ready fast routine. Takes me 10 mins tops do do all this.

I know this looks like a lot of products but it isn't. And comparing it to my old routine, not much has changed. The products are slight different but it's basically the same thing. Fast, simple, easy, effortless. Oh and yeah, I use brushes now!

This is my routine: Moisturizer, primer and concealer under the eyes. Power foundation all over, very loosely. A little bit of blush, bronzer and highlighter. A bit of powder foundation as if it was eye-shadow. Mascara and if I'm feeling fancy a little bit of eyeliner.

And I'm out the door.

Review | BENAMÔR Miracle Face Soap

Benamôr. This is an iconic Portuguese brand, established in 1925. It's a brand with an very unique and timeless identity. I have a clear memory of my grandmother applying their famous face-cream, the one that comes in a pink tube, that she kept on her dressing table, next to a beautiful pink bottle of rose water. That's an image I'll cherish for ever. And because of that, I have to admit that I love having this soap on my daily routine, along with the Ach Brito Soap that I talked about a while back.

If you have been here for a while you know I'm crazy about soaps! And this one is the most beautiful, girly soap I've ever seen. Like the rest of their line, the packaging is vintage and adorable. And the soap it-self is stunning. The blush tone with the simple logo on the top feels so exquisite!
It's a face soap, so yeah, I use it on my face, usually in the morning. The formula is super nurturing and moisturizing. It lathers really well, and creates a super creamy foam. The scent reminds me of the old days, you know? It's a classic rose water smell... I can't really explain. It smells like roses, but at the same time it's fresh and clean. It's really really good.

My Cien Favorite Products

A while back, I ranted about the Heidi Klum's Collection with Lidl. And, yes, it's true, I prefer expensive products to supermarket brands, but there are from Lidl's in-house-brand Cien that I
find to be super good and just amazing for their prices!

- from left to right -
Eye Contour Cream with Caviar Extract
Aqua Rich Daily Exfoliating Facial Wash
Make up Removal Disks
Professional Heat Protection Spray
-

The eye cream is really good! It really helps me in those mornings that I have extra puffy eyes. It has a very gel-like consistency, slightly serum-y. I like it.
The exfoliating facial wash is very well known already. It's cheap, smells good, and does what it claims. I use it to wash my face in the shower.
The face disks -- I've talked about them before. These are my favorite. For me, these are the best in the market and they are the cheapest.
But the big surprise is this Heat Protection Spray. Fist of all, I was so surprised to see that Cien had a Professional line! And this works super super good. It's super cheap as well, and so far I feel like it does it job perfectly.

Review | COLOUP POP Chic-y Palette

When it comes to make up, I am really minimalist. I don't like crazy, elaborated looks... I don't like to look like a crazy person. And I don't really use eye shadow that often. But when I do, I like soft, warm tones just to add some dimension and interest to my extremely minimalist looks.

I picked up this pallet from a while back. It's called Chic-y and it comes with 4 individual eyshadow pans. This little plate has everything you need for a really simple every day look, but you can also do a very nice and elaborated smoekey eye!

Three of the shadows are matte and one is a glittery metallic champagne gold rose color that is just to die for. It's so beautiful! The range of colors is really nice -- you have a nice rich dark brown (noche), a warmer brown to use a transition shade (freckles), a really soft pink to use as an all over the lid (distressed) and the stunning sparkly pink (vivacious).

Colour Pop shadows are known to be very pigmented and to be really easy to blend. And yes, they are. Even a noob like me can work this out. There is a little bit of fallout with the glittery shadow, but it's completely manageable.

Honestly I'm really happy with this, and as you can notice from the pictures I've used it a few times already. I really like to just swipe on a little bit of freckles all over my eyelid and to blend it really quickly and it gives me just the extra pop that I need. Some days when I'm feeling adventurous, I just tap a little bit of vivacious on my inner corners, like you would with an highlighter.

I straighten my hair at least once a week. With a flat iron. And one my best friends is this NOVEX Brazilian Keratin spray. I got it from Embelleze, and  I really really like it. It's heat protective, which means that avoids your hair from frying up from the heat of the iron. I apply it on my hair -- focusing on the ends because their more prone to burn -- and when you use the iron over it you can actually see it evaporating!. It looks like smoke, but it's actually the product evaporating! And while it evaporates, it consumes the heat that could possibly damage the hair.

BTS | College Essentials

September is here. And we all know what that means: It's back to school season! Yup, that time of the year were we get to buy cute and awesome school supplies is here!
From what I've seen, a lot of you are going to college this year -- so first of all Congratulations for finishing high-school and for getting into collage! I hope you got in the uni and the degree you wanted!
Here I'm showing you a few of the things that I had and that helped me thought collage. I know that these things and advice may not be useful to all of you, and it depends on your university. But I hope these sugestiona can be helpful in anyway.

-- Please be nice and supportive and click on at least one of the pictures! I'd do the same for you. Thank you! --

The first thing that I recommend is a sturdy backpack. And why a backpack and not a cute bag? Well, you'll probably need to carry huge, heavy books, your laptop, your notebook and whatever else. And you'll need a backpack that can hold all of that. Also, it's way more easy to just through all your stuff inside your backpack when you are in a hurry.
Something that will also come in handy, is a tablet --  and a cute case for your tablet. I like the ipad, but any tablet is useful. Usually the classes have PowerPoints, and the professores put the slides or the worksheets on your university's online platform. So it's good to have a way to access them in class. Of course you can also take your laptop with you but a tablet is lighter and easier to use. You should also think about getting a nice powerbank! I didn't had this in college but I would be so useful. I cannot tell you how many times I was out of battery on my phone or my tablet when I need it the most!
A nice planner is also a very good thing to have. You can mark your classes, due dates, tests and exames and really organize you life. And to do that, I really like to use colored pens. I'm not into any fancy planning, like with a lot of stickers and washi tape, but I think using a colorful pens is more fun -- click HERE to see my current planner. Also, they are awesome for taking notes  -- the ones in the picture are the exact ones that I use regularly on my life. I'm not going to suggest if you should use a note book, or loose sheets for you notes. Everyone has it's own preferred method. However, I'm suggesting you to have also a nice sturdy big pencil case. A cute fun one, with a nice bight color so you can easily find it inside your backpack. When I was in collage I had always a lot of work to do. And I always tried to have something to cheer me up in those days that I was completely tired and worn-out. And nice bight cute stuff always helped!

A proper skin care is very importante. Our skin is the largest barrier against infection that we have. Keeping our skin healthy and moist helps keep this barrier strong! When the skin gets dry or irritated by harsh soaps, cracks in the skin can occur.

You don't need to spend $$$$$$ on skin care products. If you can buy all high-end skin care products, great. But most of us are always searching for effective and more affordable alternatives. I'm showing you here some products that I've found on Dresslink.com that are very cheap and that are definitely going to be awesome for your skin. - PALMOLIVE Aroma Sensations Feel The Massage. GUYS! Guys.. GUYS! this is my favorite shower gel ever. I've been pretty obsessed with Palmolive products, but this on is AWESOME! Will I repurchase it? YES - a truck load if possible!

- NIVEA Cream Classic mini-tin. The classic Nivea Cream. Good and useful for any skin care emergency. I carried this in my bag for months. It is small, compact and it has just the perfect size for carrying around. Really nice even for having on a drawer at work. Will I repurchase it? Yep.

It is very foamy -- makes a super cute pink foam! -. and it lathers super eaasly. Makes my hair feel light, clean and stronger! You can read my full review here. Will I repurchase it? Oh yeah. Already did but this time I bought the Jason and the Argon Oil ;)

What's in my bag | September 2015

Hello! How are you all?
I know I haven't posted anything for like a week but today I am posting something nice eheh.

I am always curious about other
people's strange habits and  the "whats in my bag" tags are super interesting that I decided to show you what is in my bag! Call me wird but I like to know what kind of strange stuff  people cary around every day!

Tbh, I don't have a bunch of crappy stuff in my bag and I hate carry a lot of weight so I am showing you the things that are essential to me! I didn't clean my bag or added anything.  It is exactly what I have in it today!

This is my bag -- a simple H&M brown bag, nothing fancy! No, I don't have a MK like everyone else on blogger. I prefer simple and easy-going stuff for everyday.

And as you can see I don't have that much stuff. But there are a couple of things that I have to have with me!
First thing is my mini wallet from MSK. I love it, it is super small and compact but everything that I need fits prfectly. Having a small wallet helps me keep it always clean and tidy. When I had a big one, it was always full of recipits and I hated that!!
Next, my notebook (and a pen that is literally stuck inside the notebook). This one is from IKEA and it was very cheap. I use it to take notes and write down groceries or to-do lists. I don't have a planner but I use a small notebook for that.
The last thing is just some babywipes and my super girly mini makeup bag. I bought this at H&M maybe 10 years ago and it is still my favorite specially becausr it is completely washable!

[Usually I also have my Metro Card, my keys and my phone inside my bag but since I was at home the keys and metro card were near the door so I don't forget them every morning, and I was using my phobe to take the pictures ]

Inside my little makeup bag I have some essentials that I always have with me.

Make up wise, is not that much! I gave my Rimmel Stay Matte powder and a little Sephora puff to apply it, a little tube of mascara from Model Co. and and eye pencil from Rimmel. I also have my favorite lipstick -- which i have talked about here -- and Labbello lipbuter. You always need lipbuter. I also have my contact lenses' case.

Another thing that I always have is some pills. In this picture I only have one kind -- imodium for when your belly is not feeling good lol-- but usualy I also have paracetamol ( remind me later that I need to put some in my bag please! )
Another thig that I always have is some bobby pins and elastics, because you never know when you will have a hair emergency!! Something that i usually have that I don't have now is hand sanitizer and some tampons cuz you never know!

So this is it! I hope you liked it and I challenge you all to do something like this and to post on your blog! :)

And don't forget about the giveaway!

BB

Just spent my weekly food budget on a beauty blender! My previous one died (RIP my not so pink anymore but still cute old friend)  and I have been looking to replace him with a stippling brush but after talking to a nice Sepohara lady she convinced me to go back to the bb! The truth is that he does the same [ and better] then 3 or 4 different brushes would do so it is kinda not that expensive after all!

btw. It only costed 16.50€ @ Sephora -- and yes that is how much money I spend on food every week (on average and with a standard deviation of approximately 4)

Beach essentials + Giveaway!!! [CLOSED]

I am a beach person -- I love the beach, the sun, the ocean. I used to spend all summer in the south of the country, going to the beach every single day -- spending all day at the beach! This year, I have to work -- The perks of growing up!

I will not have holidays, but you will! So I am going to show you my beach essentials! I cannot live in the summer without this stuff!

Lets start with Sunscreen -- I use it everyday if going to the beach or not! Currently my favorite one are from VICHY but I am always trying different ones.  One thing I don't change -- the SPF! 50 for the face, 30 for the body -- always! And I apply it several times a day: before leaving the house and every time after going to the water. For the body I prefer a spray bottle - it is just super simple and easy! - and for the face I always use lotion - it is kinda weird to spray my face, I don't like it! [Also, do not forget to put sunscreen on the top of your feet! People always forget!

Something that I always take with me to the beach are also some essential oils -- it helps to keep my skin moisturized and it helps me get a nice bright tan! I am IN LOVE with this NUXE Huile Prodigieuse - it is so worth the money! Let me know in the comments if you would like a full review!

Lip Balm! You need Lip Balm to keep your lips yummy! This EOS lip balm in Strawberry Sorbet is my favorite! It even has SPF 15, and it tastes so so good!

The last thing you cannot forget for the summer is some nice moisturizer or after sun lotion to put after the shower. I am using this one now, from Neutrogena. I really like it -- it's milky and soft and your skin doesn't get all sticky.

And of course you need a cute, summer backpack to take all your stuff with you to the beach! I recently bought this one -- it is just a pink plastic backpack -- super 90's style. Bought it on ebay -- no specific brand -- but it is just so adorable!

~~~~~GIVEAWAY~~~~
I am giving away this two EOS lip balms! To enter the giveaway you just have to leave a comment telling me what are your on this post! Please leave your e-mail in the comment so I can contact you if you win!
This giveaway will be closed in one week -- so July 14th and i will announce the winners the next day <3
