Quick tip #8 | Stippling Brush

I never thought I'd say this but I've been applying my foundation with a brush -- instead of my Beauty Blender -- and I actually like it better this way. I feel like I can blend it better into my hair line and neck. It gives me less coverage but honestly I don't mind that. I'm still able to cover some  my yucky spots but I don't look super one toned, flat-faced.

EAT | Delidelux, Lisbon

Last Saturday, me and The Girl In Clouds met up over a cup of tea. We went to Delidelux, an absolutely lovely place, on one of the most expensive streets of Lisbon, Avenida da Liberdade.

The space is small, but elegant and beautiful. Everything is very clean, minimalist and modern. We had a really hard time choosing what to order, because every item on the menu sounded divine, but we both ended up asking for bagels. I went for the classic smoked salmon and cream cheese filling, and she had butter and jam. We both had tea, because there's nothing better than an nice hot cup of tea on a winter day.

Now, I really want to go back there for brunch. I really want to try their Eggs Benedict! 

Kitchen Makeup Boutique

If there's one makeup store that just sucks all my money away, is this one -- Kitchen Makeup Boutique. It's not common anymore to have like small makeup stores. People always go to big chains. But I love the girls that work there -- they are always so nice and so helpful! And the space is just stunning! They don't have a shit tone of stuff, but the products they sell are always amazing and super high quality! I got both of my Zoeva pallets from here, and now I went back to get something more! Curious?

Did you know that Parfois now has sterling sliver jewelry? I sure didn't!

-- Yes, I know that my thumb-nail looks weirdly short. I had a couple of stressful weeks, and my old nail biting habit kicked in and I completely wrecked my nails -- 

I don't wear fake jewelry, things made of plastic, or cheap metals. I just don't like it. I always end up with a blue mark around my finger or neck and I hate that. And I never ever go into stores like Parfois. But I went there to buy a scarf and I noticed that they now carry a small collection of sterling silver pieces. Everything very simple and clean and it seams to be a rather small collection. But the pieces are very elegant and beautiful.
