REVIEW | LANCÔME Bronze and Glow Pallet

It has been a while since I've actually reviewed a make-up product here on the blog.
And honestly, I've had this product for while on my make up bag, I've used it a lot, but I've simply forgotten to talk about. In fact this has been one my staples since I got it, I use it every-time I do my make up and I absolutely love it.

This is the Lancôme Bronze and Glow Pallet in shade 02 Your Pink Glow Shot and it's from their 2018 Summer Collection. I know, It's mid winter and I'm talking about a product launched in the summer... But hear me out! This is definitely the perfect product to give your face some color on cold winter days. Unfortunately it was limited-edition, and yes mine is broken. I don't know how it happens. I bought it -- it was perfect --  I got home, it was wrecked. I cried for three weeks. I tried to fix it, and even tho it has those ugly cracks, it works perfectly fine.

This is a 2-in-1 highlighter and bronzer pallet that will give you that sun-kissed look that we all want keep after summer ends.

The first thing that jumped at me? It's size! It's huge. It's a really big compact, with a really nice big mirror, and of the cutest abstract swirly art on the top. It's such a beautiful piece to own and to display on your vanity. The product it self is divided into 4 shades -- two highlighters and two bronzers. All four shades are shimmery, in order to give you that really glowy look. As far as pigmentation, it's perfect. Neither too much nor too little. The product is really easy to pick up and you definitely can either mix the colors or use them individually. I usually mix both bronzers, and use the highlighters separately. However, mixing the 4 shades all together gives a really sublime, bronzed and glow look, like if you had just spent all afternoon in the sun. The pink highlighter is definitely my favorite. It gives me just a little bit of color and glow, without making me

As far as the price goes, well, this was not a cheap product -- all Lancôme is a luxury brand, and luxury products are expensive. But when you hold the compact in your hands you can feel that it is quality product. You feel the luxury. It doesn't have a weird smell. The package feels very high quality, it has some weight to it. All these little details make such a difference.

EAT | BEIJU TAPIOCARIA

Because looks don't last forever, all celebrities try to find other projects where they can get some revenue from. We see this a lot in the USA, celebrities branching out to clothing lines, perfumes, cosmetics, whatever. But here in Portugal the trend seams to revolve more around food --  Portuguese celebrities are opening restaurants. Some go for a more traditional, homey vibe, others for a more sophisticated type of food. And one in particular decided to open an unconventional fast food joint --  The Portuguese actress Rita Pereira felt in love with the Brazilian tapioca crepe Beiju and eventually ventured into opening her own chain of restaurants called Beiju Tapiocaria. Beijo is made from tapioca flower that when spread onto a heated surface melts together creating a dry thin crepe that can be stuffed with whatever you feel like.

It took me a long time to go try one of her restaurantes. I don't really follow celebrities, so the fact that she is a celebrity and she opened a restaurant wasn't that thrilling at all. In fact, it was a turn down for me -- what does she know about food or running a restaurant?? Besides, I'd already tried tapiocas when I was on holiday in Brazil 10 years ago, so I wasn't that curious. But everybody was so hyped about this that I finally cave in.

Beiju offers both savory and sweet options, but I opted for the one with smoked salmon and cream cheese, a combination that I know it works and that I know I like. The crepe it self taste like nothing. Completely bland. So when you take a bit of the whole thing, you only taste the filling. It's good, but you know, it didn't blew my mind. This is was so average that I can't even find the words to describe it.  The menu costs 8€ and it includes a drink, chips or soup, and coffee. It's the right price for what you are getting and the best part were definitely the sweet-potato chips -- crispy and yummy!

The best thing about tapioca is that it is extremely low in saturated fat, protein and sodium. So it makes it supper healthy. But also makes it taste like nothing. It's cooked with no fat at all, so all the fat and taste really comes from what you choose to put inside. Perhaps if I'd chosen a sweet one -- with Nutella or something like that -- I would be less disappointed.

I'll admit that this is a good alternative to the regular fast food places you can usually find at the mall -- it's healthier and lighter. It's a good option as snack, but as a meal I felt like it was not satisfying enough.

REVIEW | Bio-Oil

Ever since I've started going to the gym more often I am much more concerned about giving my skin everything it needs to accompany the rest of my body while getting in shape.
I know I'm pron to get stretch-marks. I've had stretch-marks on my hips and butt since I was about 12. And because of that I decided to bring back an old friend that, honesty, I've missed a lot -- Bio-oil.
This is not the first time you hear me talk about his product, and I bet it definitely wont be the last. I wrote a post telling how great it is in 2015 ...Way before everybody starting to talk about it, and before everyone went crazy about it. And my opinion remains the same! But let me remind me of what it is and what it does.

Bio-oil is well known for being a wonder product against stretch marks, scars and other skin marks that we all have and hate.  As I said, I deal with a lot of stretch-marks on my hips / butt. And I know what they are not going away -- it is impossible to get completely rid of stretch marks, BUT this product really helps in preventing new ones from forming and it helps reduce the appearance of the existing ones.

Bio-Oil it's what we call a dry-oil. This just means that it at first it feels like an oil, but after you rub it in it is quickly absorbed without leaving any trace of residue -- it leaves you skin looking silky and smooth. It's very smooth and lightweight, and it smells really nice.

Personally I've never had any problems but be aware that this is an oil and it may stain your clothes, so be careful when applying it and handling it.
I've had it in my gym bag and I always apply it after showering and after applying my Vaseline Spray Body Lotion, and this combination leaves my skin feeling nurtured, smooth and amazing.

Zomato Gold | Use my code CATYOL for 25% off !

A while ago I decided to subscribe Zomato Gold and I'm honestly very happy with this decision.
Zomato Gold is a service that gives you offers in some restaurantes, allowing you to eat out and save  some money.

There are two types of deals -- 1+1 meal or 2+2 drinks. This means they offer one dish if you get two, or two drinks if you get other two. Some restaurants offer the meal deal, others offer the drinks. But I don't think I've ever seen one that offers both (don't even know if that's possible).

The deal I feel it's more worth it is the one for meals. Two for the price of one it's a pretty good deal! This, of course, does not include meals to share, or buffet meals or all you can eat. Basically you need to oreder two separate dishes. And of course they always charge you the most expensive dish.
You can only use Gold on the same restaurant up to 8 times and all you have to do is to click on the Gold button on your app and let your waiter know you are using Gold when she comes to get your order.

This membership is not cheap, but it's always on sale! And if you use a referral code you get en extra 25% off and this way it defendente pays off. I think I paid 25€ for my one year subscription and I have already saved tree times that value. That's because I use Zomato Gold mostly to visit restaurants that otherwise I'd find too expensive.

Currently Zomato has a lot of Gold Partner Restaurants, serving all different types of food. One of my currently favorites is Prego D'Pescador in Parque das Nações -- serving very tasteful Portuguese food. Being already relatively cheap, using gold makes it a bargain! I've been there 4 times already and I've never been disappointed. Perfect for a casual lunch date. But if you want to try something fancier -- I'd suggest Akla at the 5 Star Intercontinental Hotel. Super expensive, but it's truly an exquisite experience -- just check out our fancy desserts!

Browse a little bit trough Zomato Website, check all the gold restaurantes, the prices, and do the math yourself. And if you think it would be worth it for you. And you can use my referral code to get 25% off the price.

Honey Trap

On these really cold days my lips always need some extra love. And because of that this little tin goes with me everywhere. This lip balm is amazing! It just melts melts onto the lips and leaves them soft all day long! It has honey, oats that make your lips all smooth while the almond and olive oil moisturize them. The beeswax almost seals your lips from the cold, keeping them nice and smooth. And the tin container with the pink sticker is just too cute.

EAT | Taberna Belga, Braga

Francesinha -- or little french girl, in English. The very traditional Portuguese sandwich, meat packed, cheese covered and doused in a hot rich sauce. They say it's an adaption of the french croque-monsieur to the Portuguese taste, hence it's name. Although it has spread  all over the country, Porto -- and it's close surroundings -- is the traditional area of the Francesinha, however the best one I've ever had is little further north, in Braga.

Taberna Belga serves the best Francesinha I've ever tried in my life. You have to go there and try it for yourself. It's the best one ever. But be prepared to wait, because Taberna Belga always has a line at the door. ALWAYS, even though this restaurant is huge, and it has a LOT of tables it is always completely full. For lunch, or dinner. And unless you go super early or really late -- as we did -- you are going to wait. But trust me, it will be completely worth it.

This Francesinha is slightly different form the ones you eat in Porto -- and astonishingly different form the kind you can find here in Lisbon -- because the sauce is different. It's much richer, and ticker and intense. You can tell from the picture that even has a brighter red shade. It is very velvety and extremely of flavorful. I've been told that not everybody likes it because it has a stronger tomato base, and therefor it tastes more like tomato --  It reminded me of a lighter pizza sauce. The sauce was not spicy at all, contrarily to the Francsinha you eat in Porto who's sauce is always always hotter than hell.

Usually I'm not able to eat one whole franchise on my own. It's just too much food -- but I ate the whole thing. And it was a very hot summer day! To help the Francesinha go down -- and to tone down the heat -- we order a really cold La Trappe Quadrupel, a Dutch dark strong beer. Oh yeah, Taberna Belga serves a variety of unusual beers. I'm usually not very fond of this type of beers but this one, because it has a nuttier flavor complements really well the richness of the Francesinha sauce.

How to become Belle

Over the years, Disney hasn't always been known for creating strong female role models. In part, that’s been down to the era their movies have been made in; films such as Snow White or Sleeping Beauty, reflect the attitudes toward women at the time - which is to say that the girl stays at home, happy to perform chores while waiting for a Prince to come and sweep her off her feet.

But in Beauty and the Beast we have Belle. She is the girl that everyone wants to be. She is beautiful, graceful, strong and smart! There are undeniable aspects of strength to this character: Belle loved books while other girls in the village only focused on their appearances in order to land a man. She fought back hard against Gaston’s advances, and wasn’t afraid to tell the Beast that he was rude. And even though she may have suffered from Stockholm Syndrome, she is indisputably one of the strongest classic Disney characters. Who doesn't want to be like Belle?

-- Please be nice and supportive and click on at least one of the pictures! I'd do the same for you. Thank you! --

Thirteen Studio | Be Kind

Unique clothes are hard to find.
Everything is globalized and everybody has acess to the same things.  But thankfully there are talented people with amazing ideas that make beautiful -- and meaningful -- things for you to wear.

ThirtheenStudio is a small portuguese brand founded by two sisters that bascilly were missing each other. Ana surprised Carolina -- the amazing girl behind the blog Thirteen --  with a hand-embroidered t-shirt, that made all Carolina's followers go nutz asking where they could get one, and all of a suden they were in business seelling a few different desgins, all embroidered, all with an inspirational message. And because they are done by hand -- they are all a little bit different. All with their own unique details.

Now, they've lunched a special desgin to support a special event -- Blogging for a Cause. For each t-shirt sold, ThirteenProject will donate 5€ to Blogging for a Cause, that eventually will redestrebut the raised amount amonst the five different charities the event is supporting this year.
The t-shirt reads "Be Kind to Yourself", a simple but important message that you can carry right over your heart. It helps you to remind yourself that there is only one person in the world you'll always have a relationship with, and that's yourself. And that like any other relationship you may need to work on it a a little. You need to make sure that you are a good companion for yourself becasue before being able to take care of others, you need to take care of yourself.

For now, you can only buy their products at their Instagram Account or by contacting Carolina directly through her email -- carolina@thirteen.pt -- however I've heard they're working on a cool website.

EAT | Heim Café, Lisbon

It's strange how food plays such an important part in our lives. How we connect with other people over a plate of food. How we make amends by sharing food. And this time we decided to visit Heim Café, a super cool space, with amazing food, and always picture ready.

Hiem -- it means home in German, and that's exactly how you feel when you step food into this really small coffee shop in Santos -- you feel at home.

The space is really small, and the decor is really minimalist -- simple tables with a Nordic vibe, green plants and light shades.

It's always has a line at door, like all the other brunch places that are so trendy right now. And when I say always, I mean ALWAYS. It had a line when we arrived, and it had a bigger line when we left. We went around noon and we had to wait 45 min to get a table. Which was actually good because when we finally sat down, we were absolutely starving. The really hard task was choosing what to order. Everything on the menu sounds -- and looks --  extremely delicious! And since we were so hungry we ordered a lot of stuff.

After carefully reading the menu, I opted for the Yellow Brunch -- composed by toast, two fried eggs, bacon, sausage, some salad, tomatoes, beans, a waffle with nutella and nuts, yogurt with granola and orange juice --  and my friend had a mushroom toast and the Sunday Breakfast -- fried eggs, bacon, salad, tomatoes, beans and orange juice. And we also had two lovely cappuccinos.

And you what, for once, I have zero complaints about the food. Everything was delicious. My eggs were perfectly fried, and the yoke was still runny, the bacon was crispy and not soggy at all! The portions were huge! And what truly amazed me was that, this place was packed and always with a line at the door, but yet the food was so well prepared! I'm definitely going back!

Boi-ing

I've been loving this little pink pot. It's my little helper on rough mornings. Specially because since I've completely dropped my morning routine and now the only thing I do is to lightly cover my dark circles and put on mascara and lipstick.

This is Benefit's Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer on shade No 2, and it's amazing. It is super creamy, super easy to apply and super easy to blend with your fingers. This shade is actually pretty perfect for my skin, specially for my eyes --  It covers all the darkness and redness and it looks fairly natural. I love using it on my eyelids and on my dark-circles. I don't wear foundation on a daily basis because I don't have many blemishes or scares, and I often just opt to apply bit of concealer to cover some occasional red-ish spots.

EAT | Jamie's Italian, Lisbon

If I asked you to name a famous chef, I bet the first name comes to your mind is Jamie Oliver. He is the most famous chef from my generation. If you are a bit younger, you may not remember all his cooking shows, or 'Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution' -- a TV series where Jamie traveled around US and showed the world how trashy the food at schools is and how he tried to change that.

Because of his success, Jamie launched a few restaurants. One of them being Jamie's Italian that, eventually has been franchised all over Europe. And of course, when I hear that one opened in Lisbon, I had to try it.

We went on a week night, like we always try to do when going to these trendy restaurants. It was easy to book a table with on a really short notice, and we were hoping we'd have a nice calm dinner experience. But that wasn't the case. The restaurant was packed full, noisy and super busy.
But even so, we didn't have to wait. As soon as we arrived the maitre d showed us to our table, we sat, we looked around and we knew we were going to have a good experience.

We looked to the menu, where everything sounded delicious. We asked for a nice bottle of red wine and as a starter, we shared an Hot-Smoked Salmon Bruschetta with ricotta cheese, fennel and lemon. It was to die for. The creaminess of the ricotta, that zing of the lemon and the warmness of the salmon go really nice together. Really flavorful and really simple. Simple enough to recreate at home!

As for the main dishes, I opted for the Scallop and Prawn Risotto and my friend asked for the Lamb Chop Scottadito.

My risotto was lovely -- The rice was perfectly cooked, really creamy and rich. It had a few prawns and a few scallops. But it wasn't perfect. My scallops needed a few more seconds on each side, because they were lacking a bit of browning.
The lamp chops were super tasty, juicy and tender. They were, though, a bit overcooked. The center wasn't completely pink as it should. My friend said that I'm a food snob and that both of our dishes were perfect, and that I was being too picky. But excuse me if I was expecting perfection! We were paying good money for our food and don't take me wrong -- the food was extremely tasty -- but I was expecting more attention to this type of details.

And then it came the best part of the meal. I'm going to be honest with you -- one of the main reasons I wanted to go so badly was because I wanted to try Jamie's famous Epic Chocolate Brownie. And it is so good. It tastes like chocolate heaven! It comes with a scoop of salted caramel ice  ice-cream and a few lovely crunchy caramelized popcorn curdles, and I don't know how Jamie came up with this combination but it works in so many levels! It feels like a desert a kid would make -- you know, by mixing all the candy -- but it works! The different textures and the different temperatures turn this dessert into a melange of sensations in your mouth. My guy asked for the Amalfi Lemon Meringue Cheesecake that was also mind-blowing. It's like a cheesecake and a lemon meringue pie had a baby and the best of them combined into this amazing dessert.  The lemon curd was tangy and creamy, and it had a mountain of meringue perfectly cooked covered with an extremely rich blackcurrant compote. We asked for two deserts because we thought that maybe one desert wasn't enough to share... oh but they are! Both of our deserts were huge.

The restaurant was really noise the whole time we were there. And even tho it has a very romantic atmosphere, the noise really kills the mood. We were having troubles in understanding what we were saying across the table. But we really enjoyed the experience. The food was great, the wine was awesome, and the deserts made it worth it. And yes, I plan to go back and try all the other dishes on the menu.

Revenge of the 90's

Tomorrow I'm going to another Revenge Of The 90's.
Revenge of the 90's it's a party all about the 90's, with 90's music, 90's personalities and 90's trinkets. It's the 4th time I'm going to one of these party and it's always super fun.
It used to be a very underground thing. You had to be in Facebook group, and you could only get tickets by talking to PR. Now, it's a full on event, you can by tickets online and at the nearest Fnac -- this time the ticket is actually an NFC bracelet, that you can even charge with money and use to pay for drinks inside! Super high tech!
But it's still super fun go -- at least the last one was! I had a blast! And I also get to dress up like one of the Spice Girls and not get judged!

Have you ever been to one of these parties? Are you going to this one? Do you think these are cool or lame?

My blog turned three this year and I thought it was time to make a few changes around here. I'm a different person that I was three years ago, I've changed, and I think my blog deserved to grow too. I wasn't trying to make any drastic changes, because honestly I still liked what I had before. But I asked Sofia from Pirilampos Em Marte to make me something simple, that I could relate to. She made me a new header and a new avatar. And I think it came out great. Specially because I just asked her to make anything really -- I gave her almost zero instruction or guidelines --   and she just amazed me. I honestly had no idea what I wanted but I think she nail it. I love how cute I look!
What do you think?

REVIEW | LIERAC Body-Slim Minceur Globale

In case you haven't noticed, I've been dragging my lazy ass to the gym whenever I can.
I've wrote about this before. I don't think I'm fat, I just want to be healthier. I spend all day sitting down and I feel like that takes a tole on my body...
I'm drinking more water, trying to eat better, and exercising of course. And even tho I'm seeing results -- I can see that my abs are more defined I still felt like some extra help is welcome.
As you know, I've started to take Cellulase Pears, and in addition to that I started using a sculpting cream.

I asked around which one I should get, and of course my favorite pharmacist -- Mr. O Pinguim Sem Asas -- recommended me this one - LIERAC's Body-Slim Minceur Globale

I've been told that this is a starting out product -- which means that it is the ideal product if you want to start battling cellulite and you want to actually see some results.
I've been using it for a while now -- my tube is actually almost over --  and yes, I can definitely tell a difference!

It's texture is really nice -- it's a very lightweight pink lotion. Really easy to apply. It feels very silky, not too tick or creamy. It dries down really fast -- and it doesn't leave any stickiness or wet feeling.
And the smell -- I love the smell! It has a slightly medicinal smell, not too intense, with a hint of raspberry. And after you apply it to your body it almost changes to a very light fresh fruity scent. I like it!

But to make the most out of this product, you have to be careful on how you apply it and what you do with it. You can't just lightly rub it in and hope for the best, because that won't work. To really make it work, you'll have to:

- Apply the product at the end of the day, after the shower --  I usually do it after the gym.
- Exfoliate your skin at least once a week to help improve the penetration of the product
- Massaging the product in to insure good penetration, stimulation of circulation and to help release the fat cells. Oh, and when I say massage, I mean self-inflicted torture with my knuckles on my tights. And yes, I've been told that this is supposed to hurt. This type of product can't just be smeared on you skin! You have to work it in.
- Drink a lot of water to help with the draining
- Exercise. As much as possible.

Honestly, I am always a bit skeptical about this sort of products and I can't really say if it is this product, the Cellulase Pearls, the exercise or just the combination of it all. But yes, I'm seeing good results! I have less dimples on my butt and that curve that goes from the begging of the leg to the butt is much smoother and defined. But yes, less cellulite that's for sure.

LUSH | Favorites

I know I'm always raving about Lush products. I like that they are natural, I like the concept of the brand, I love that they are package free. But you know, there are a lot of products from Lush that I don't really care for. There are a few Lush products that are a staple in my bathroom, but there were a lot of them that I've tried and hated.
I'm weird with smells. And we all know that not all Lush products smell amazing.  But there are a few that smell like heaven and that I absolutely love.
In terms of smell of a bath product -- I like products with a fresh smell, that smell like clean, so I always go for the things that smell like lavender, lemon, or cotton. And my favorite Lush products are products that make me feel relaxed and clean, and that don't have a weird smell.

And no, this does not include bath-bombs or bubble bars. Even tho I've tried a few, I din't really enjoyed them that much. I believe that it kinda of goes against the brand's concept regarding ecological and sustainability issues. Why would you fill up a bath tube with water just to make it cute...? It's a waste of water and honestly think it goes against the whole eco-friendly thing.

-- NEW Shampoo Bar --

I've tried different shampoo bars over the years, but the  NEW Shampoo Bar has always been my favorite. It smells like cinnamon and clove and it is suppose to help with hair-fall and breakage. It comes with no packaging and it used to have an actual stick of cinnamon embedded on one of the sides, but it doesn't anymore. Now it comes with a cute and important message.
It's pretty simple to use -- I just use it like if I was using a regular bar of soap, but on my hair. It ladders up pretty easily and it makes a really cute pink foam that makes your hair smell amazing. And I've also noticed that with this shampoo my hair absolves less water -- I don't know why, or how, I just know that I feel like at the end of the shower my hair is not as wet as it is when I use other types of shampoo.

-- Serendipity Soap --

Serendipity Soap it's my favorite soap bar from Lush. Honestly, I think I hate the smell of most of them. But this  one smells like heaven.
It's a soap --  a regular soap bar --  that smells like lavender. Showering with this soap is really relaxing, and the whole bathroom gets filled with this comforting lavender smell. It does something that I like -- makes me feel completely clean, like all the oils and dirt were completely removed from my skin.

-- Enzymion Face Moisturizer --

Usually I'm not the biggest fan of moisturizers. I like very light  products, that get absorbed really quickly. And the Enzymion Face Moisturizer is exactly like that. It has a very fresh smell, and it is very very fluid. It has a completely mat finish and it's not oily or sticky.
It's an expensive product but a little but goes a long way -- because it is so fluid, just a small amount it's more than enough for your face.

-- Mint Julips Lip Scrub --

I'm a bit crazy with exfoliation. I like to scrub all the dead skin of my body. Including off my lips. When I had braces, my lips were always dry and disgusting, so I began exfoliating them. The Mint Julips Lip Scrub was my best friend. It's a sugar scrub that you can actually eat -- it's just sugar and oils. All Lush's lip scrubs are sugar based and they just change the flavor. My favorite is this one -- that smells like mint and it leaves a nice tingling feeling on my lips.

-- Sandstone Soap --

And still on scrubbing products -- I absolutely love this Sandstone Soap. It's my latest obsession... It's the scrubbiest soap that Lush makes. It is made of sand. Like beach sand. After using this, your bathtub will look like a beach... It's rough, but it really scrubs you off.
It is an awesome product BUT it's expensive and you can find cheaper ones on the market that do the same thing, but once in a while I like splurge on this one.

Have you tried any of this products? What's YOUR favorite Lush product? Let me know all in the comments!

FASHIONMIA | Cute affordable coats

Autumn is finnaly here. The time for cute boots and over-sized jackets has finally arrived... well not really because here in Lisbon we still have extremely hot days, with the temperatures going over 30ºC.

But since I'm already craving for cooler mornings, I decided that it was the right time to tell you all about Fashionmia and their Black Friday Outwear Sale!

Fashionmia it's another one of those websites that we all know and love because they sell cute and trendy clothing at some really affordable prices. They have an HUGE variety of products, but today we are going to talk about **trench coats for women --like the link**

I absolutely love long coats. They are the most comfortable thing to wear, when you have to get up super early to go to work. While I was browsing trough Fahionmia's I fell in love with these three. These are are so cute and that are absolutely perfect for my life.

1 - 2 - 3

-- Please be nice and supportive and click on at least one of the links! I'd do the same for you. Thank you! --

The fist one is a very simple, elegant coat, perfect to go over a nice dress. I love how it's this blushy-coral ton, not too pinky nor too peachy. Really beautiful.

Another one that really caught my eye was this furry grey one. It just looks like the most comfortable thing in the world. Cozy and warm and fluffly. I could totally see my self wearing it. It's so edgy and trendy.

The last on is another very classic looking jacket... but with a twist! It has the color and shape of a traditional trench coat, but if you take a closer look at the picture you will see that it is actually made of a slicker material, it's supper fitted and it looks edgy and elegant at the same time! Love it!

I have to warn you --  these are not super super cheap, so some quality is expected. And I know that most of the time the pictures can be deseeving. And I bet you won't be seeing anyone with a jacket like yours walking down the street!

GLAMOUROSA | Sensilis and Lierac with great prices!

I just realized that I've being the dumbest person on the face of the earth. Why, you ask? Well... I've been buying all my body/skin care products at my local pharmacy while I could be being them from Glamourosa all along. I know what fiscally buying the products is better because you can try them, smell them, feel them... however, they are way more expensive...

Today I've received an email saying that Glamourosa now carries Sensilis and everything is 15% off! I have a few products that are on my wishlist that are a great deal! I always wanted to try their skin care products but they are super expensive...

Even my favorite sculpting cream is on sale here -- it's expensive as hell, but it works wonders! Actually, all Lierac products have 20% off and this is really awesome. I will be definitely placing an order real soon. Also, there's a full review of this product coming out in the next few days!

And if these amazing prices weren't enough, you can always use my code thenotsogirlygirl at the end of you purchase for an extra 5% off!

I honestly invite you to take a look. It's all original products and they carry a lot brands -- including  Benefit, Kat Von D, Huda Beauty, among others. I love fancy brands and if I can save a few euros, it's always a good deal!

EAT | Portugalia, Lisbon

Portugalia -- the beef institution of Lisbon. If there is an iconic place to go and have a nice stake, fries and yummy buttery sauce it's Portugalia.

90 years ago, when it first opened, Portugalia was a bear factory and a beer-house -- place where you'd go to have a few beers, have a good time and eat some good stakes and amazing sea-food.

With the passing of time, it has evolved to a nice sit down restaurant, with  locations, and more recently it has even franchised allowing you to eat some of it's famous dishes at some malls around Lisbon.

The oldest restaurant is in the heart of the city, right along one of the main streets of Lisbon -- Av. Almirante Reis. And it's a restaurant full of charm. An old building, with big windows and big doors. Just stunning. It's actually the original location of the factory and of the pub. If you haven't yet, you must visit it.

I'd say that there are 3 dishes that you really need to try here :
- the very traditionally Portuguese Açorda, a dish made with bread and prowns. Really creamy and full of flavor.
- the also very traditional Bacalhau à Bràs , with shredded codfish, shoestring potatoes, and onions all bonded with eggs. Amazingly creamy and delicious.
- And of course: their very famous Bife à Portugalia. A stake (you can chose beef, pork or chicken) with their traditional -- and secret -- sauce. And this is what I always have. Always, of course, with a nice cold draught beer.

The stake is served in a clay dish, covered with this shinny, velvety, yellow sauce perfect for you to deep your fries or a nice piece of bread. I always ask for mine medium-rare and of course with a fried egg. It's so tasteful and yummy and make me melt on the inside.

REVIEW | BENEFIT Brow Contour Pro

Being such a lazy ass girl, I'm always looking for products that make my life easy. And when I saw this product on Benefit's Instagram I've been dying to get my hands on it. And of course also , the whole cute 90's multi-color pen look, completely sold it for me.

Let me introduce you to the Brow Contour PRO. It's a 4-in-1 product that has everything you need to make your brows looking all perfect and awesome. The fact that it is the size of a pen makes it super practical and perfect for traveling.

This product is designed to be extremely easy to use -- You always start at the lighter shade, and if you look at the top of the pen, you can see the little harrows that show you where to go next.
This lighter shade goes on the front of the brow -- up until the higher point. Here, you should click your pen and switch to the darker shade. This one is supposed to go on the tail of you brow -- but I always do a few flicks in the middle section as well to make it blend better. I also use a spooly to even out the product everything and avoid any hash lines.

After that it comes the clean up -- with the definer shade. This is basically a concealer with which you literally draw around you brows to make'em all sharp. You do need to blend it because it makes a very defined line --  I use my fingers but when I tried this out at benefit boutique they used a sponge applicator to blend it.

The last step is the highlighter. You basically paint the highlighter on your brow bone, blend it a little, and that's it.

I've been loving this product mainly because of the convinice of only taking one thing with me.
Because it's a 4-in-1 product, you have to settle for the shades that come in it. In my case, the dark colors are OK, but I think that the concealer is too orange and too close to the highlighter shade. And I guess that this is the big disadvantage of this product -- you can't really mix and match shades to make it work better for you. I also kinda of wish it came also with a spooly or a little brow brush, because you do need to work the product into your brows somehow. Oh and yes, this is the perfect product for you to start with if you are not used to do your brows. The tips are all very small and the product is super soft, and super easy to apply and blend. It's precise enough for an every-day look.
