Disney is finally lunching a Steaming Service in Portugal -- Disney+! I'm so excited! It's not really available yet, and they don't say when it is going to be available, but it's somewhere in 2019! There's already a website were you can sign up to be notified of any news. They say the price will be cheaper than its direct competitor - Netflix - that carries some Disney content. In addition to having available all the movies, they will also have some exclusive content, including a new Star Wars Series!

RANT | HBO Portugal

Finally FINALLY we have HBO in Portugal. And oh my god I've waited for this for a really long time.

HBO is a streaming service, much like Netflix, that produces a bunch of movies, documentaries, and tv-shows. Yes, the one where Game of Thrones, Westworld, and Sex and The City come from. Ever wonder why these shows aren't on Netflix? Well, it's because they belong to the competition. HBO works exactly the same way as Netflix does -- it's pretty much the same thing, actually. The price is 4.99€/month, and the first month is free. You can add up to 5 devices to your account but you can only watch on two screens at the same time -- which is actually better than the cheapest Netflix option! They claim to have 4500 movies and shows, including Game of Thrones, True Detective, Westworld, and the 90's classics The Sopranos and Sex and The City -- which I am dying to re-watch. 

And yes, the last season of Game of Thrones will be available on the Portuguese App at the exact same time as it is in the US, so no more spoilers and no more having to wait for the next day to see the new episode!

Sounds too good to be true? Well in fact, it is... But only if you are an iOS user. They don't have any app available on the App Store for iPad or iPhone and it is not possible to see the contents on the website trough safari -- if you try to open any content, it says that you need too download the app -- that doesn't exist -- and it has a link that does nothing. So yeah. So much hype for nothing. They even had an awesome lunch-party, with a bunch of famous people -- that probably all own iPhones and that can't see their contents -- ironic much? -- From what they say on their website they don't give you the possibility to watch on an iOS mobile device -- only android. I wanted to subscribe but now I won't because I am always on the go and I like to watch stuff on my iPhone. I subscribed anyway, and Ive been watching on my laptop. But if they don't come up soon with an app for iOS I will just stick with Netflix.

Super Bowl Halftime Show 2019

Did you see this year's Super Bowl Halftime Show? Omg, It was dreadful. It lacked soul and passion! It was just dull.. plain old boring. I was so disappointed. I love Maroon 5, and Adam Lavine is one of my top 5 celebrity crushes, but his performance was so underwhelming. Even the line up they chose to perform was not that special.

The show it's self just failed to impress. There was no awesome light effects or people flying through the air, the dynamic between Maroon 5 and Big Boi and Travis Scoot was flat, there were no connection between Adam and the audience... It was so bad. I think this was the worst half-time show of the last years. 

They have done so well before -- remember when they did the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2015? That was so amazing. So energetic, so charismatic. What happen Adam, WHAT HAPPEN?

The only great moment of the show, was when Adam was singing Moves like Jagger, and right after that part where he says 'I swear I'll behave', he takes off his shirt. That was good. But Adam's abs weren't enough to save the show. Oh, and don't get me started on the Sponge Bob thing! I mean, the main attractions of Maroon 5’s concert were characters not on stage, and not even in the stadium. I love Sponge Bob but it didn't make any sense. I feel like they were trying to add a whimsical character to the show to make it somehow memorable -- remember left shark from Katy Perry's 2015 half time show? Last summer, when I saw her live, SHE HAD A THE LEFT-SHARK ON STAGE! No one is ever forgetting that one.

I love to walk around in the city and just take in all the beauty that all this old buildings have. Lisbon is such an old city. all its buildings are so full of history and stories! If they could talk I bet they would have amazing things to say. And around Christmas they get even more beautiful and magical with all the decorations and lights. I kinda wish they could keep the Christmas decor all year around.

Zomato Gold is a service that gives you offers in some restaurantes, allowing you to eat out and save  some money.

There are two types of deals -- 1+1 meal or 2+2 drinks. This means they offer one dish if you get two, or two drinks if you get other two. Some restaurants offer the meal deal, others offer the drinks. But I don't think I've ever seen one that offers both (don't even know if that's possible).

The deal I feel it's more worth it is the one for meals. Two for the price of one it's a pretty good deal! This, of course, does not include meals to share, or buffet meals or all you can eat. Basically you need to oreder two separate dishes. And of course they always charge you the most expensive dish.

You can only use Gold on the same restaurant up to 8 times and all you have to do is to click on the Gold button on your app and let your waiter know you are using Gold when she comes to get your order.

This membership is not cheap, but it's always on sale! And if you use a referral code you get en extra 25% off and this way it defendente pays off. I think I paid 25€ for my one year subscription and I have already saved tree times that value. That's because I use Zomato Gold mostly to visit restaurants that otherwise I'd find too expensive.

Currently Zomato has a lot of Gold Partner Restaurants, serving all different types of food. One of my currently favorites is Prego D'Pescador in Parque das Nações -- serving very tasteful Portuguese food. Being already relatively cheap, using gold makes it a bargain! I've been there 4 times already and I've never been disappointed. Perfect for a casual lunch date. But if you want to try something fancier -- I'd suggest Akla at the 5 Star Intercontinental Hotel. Super expensive, but it's truly an exquisite experience -- just check out our fancy desserts!

Honey Trap

On these really cold days my lips always need some extra love. And because of that this little tin goes with me everywhere. This lip balm is amazing! It just melts melts onto the lips and leaves them soft all day long! It has honey, oats that make your lips all smooth while the almond and olive oil moisturize them. The beeswax almost seals your lips from the cold, keeping them nice and smooth. And the tin container with the pink sticker is just too cute.

My blog turned three this year and I thought it was time to make a few changes around here. I'm a different person that I was three years ago, I've changed, and I think my blog deserved to grow too. I wasn't trying to make any drastic changes, because honestly I still liked what I had before. But I asked Sofia from Pirilampos Em Marte to make me something simple, that I could relate to. She made me a new header and a new avatar. And I think it came out great. Specially because I just asked her to make anything really -- I gave her almost zero instruction or guidelines --   and she just amazed me. I honestly had no idea what I wanted but I think she nail it. I love how cute I look!

I absolutely love this lipstick in this shade. When I first reviewed it, you all said in the comments that you didn’t like it and that it's not matte. Well, it is matte! In the sense that it dries without looking wet and shiny. It’a not long lasting and it does transfer, but it’s just like any other regular lipstick. This shade is soooo beautiful and I love it. 

For the first time in my damn life I've finished a whole bottle of perfume. Yep. I used up every single drop of my Chanel Chance. I wanted to try a new one but I have this crazy thing with smells, so it's hard for me to make a decision and it took me a while to find another perfume that I like on me. Eventually I got this one -- Coco Mademoiselle. It’s also Chanel, of course— because I always love anything Chanel. And it’s waaay more expensive than my old perfume. WAY more. But I got it anyway. It has a more mature smell, I’d say. It’s a little bit sweeter, a bit more intense. It has some sort of oriental and exotic feeling about it. More sensual. I like it. I really like it.

Did you know that Parfois now has sterling sliver jewelry? I sure didn't!

-- Yes, I know that my thumb-nail looks weirdly short. I had a couple of stressful weeks, and my old nail biting habit kicked in and I completely wrecked my nails -- 

I don't wear fake jewelry, things made of plastic, or cheap metals. I just don't like it. I always end up with a blue mark around my finger or neck and I hate that. And I never ever go into stores like Parfois. But I went there to buy a scarf and I noticed that they now carry a small collection of sterling silver pieces. Everything very simple and clean and it seams to be a rather small collection. But the pieces are very elegant and beautiful. 

 
I've been playing around with this pallet. Bought it because it was on sale and I'm having some mixed feelings about it.

For a while, I went back to using regular shampoo -- the kind you buy at the supermarket.

Why? Because I had 2 or 3 half-used bottles of shampoo and I don't like to waste stuff. And now, I can definitely tell that my hair hates regular shampoo. It gets all oily and yucky super fast, it feels weird. I can't explain. And I could wait to get back on my *dear* NEW Shampoo Bar (NEW is the name!). It doesn't come with the cinnamon stick anymore, but with a cool advice instead. 

And yes, that's my good old crusty tin box, where I keep my shampoo bars and soaps. And yes I know it looks disgusting. And yes, those are little remaining pieces of every shampoo or soap bar I've owned.

Because this blog is not just to talk about stuff I like, but also to show you things that disappoint me...

I bought this buffer brush from H&M a while back. I don’t use it that often, because I honestly prefer my beauty bleander to any brush. But I like to use this one to buff out my bronzer when I put a little bit too much. I only use it for that. And I think I’ve washed this brush maybe twice since I got it. And look at it state. The wooden handle is chipped and the part that holds the bristles is all loosened. I remember that this brush was’t that cheap: I don’t remember exactly how much it was, but I think it costed me close to 10€.

I’ve always liked H&M make up and accessories, even before they re-branded their beauty section. But this is the second make up related product that I get from them that I don’t like. 

Cinnamon rolls are just the most cozy thing ever. Soft, sweet and warm.

I was never too into make up brushes. I have my trusty Beauty Blender that I use and love, and because I never really do any elaborated eye shadow looks, I used to have a couple of eye brushes that honestly I never really used. However, now I've decided to buy some brushes, just to give it a try.

We all know that there are so many makeup brushes, so many brands, and it's not an easy task to know really good brushes that I feel comfortable paying for.

So, there is this website called reviews.com, and yes, as the name clearly gives it away, it's a website with reviews of everything. I mean, laterally everything. It's super fun to read. Actually since I've discovered it I've been just randomly reading their articles, and it's really fun to find out which is the best robot vacuum cleaner, or the best electric toothbrush on the market. And they give you options according to your budget. They don't just suggest you a super expensive thing that of course is good.

Anyway, they wrote an article about makeup brushes.

They looked at 16 brands, and 70 individual makeup brushes, they tested them out and consulted with makeup artists and they came out with a nice guide to makeup brushes shopping. It's actually fun to read, you should check it out! -- they explain their process and really explain their findings. And at the end they give you 3 options: Top Pick, Best Luxury Brand and Best On a Budget! 

I decided that I wanted to get the Best On a Budget -- from ELF --  because I know I'm not going to use them that often. However, ELF doesn't ship here. That's the only downside... the suggested products may not be sold in your country. And getting it from amazon may make it more expensive... 

But honestly I'm really enjoying this website, and I know a lot if you will like it too!
