Reviews.com | Makeup Brushes Shopping Guide

I was never too into make up brushes. I have my trusty Beauty Blender that I use and love, and because I never really do any elaborated eye shadow looks, I used to have a couple of eye brushes that honestly I never really used. However, now I've decided to buy some brushes, just to give it a try.

We all know that there are so many makeup brushes, so many brands, and it's not an easy task to know really good brushes that I feel comfortable paying for.
So, there is this website called reviews.com, and yes, as the name clearly gives it away, it's a website with reviews of everything. I mean, laterally everything. It's super fun to read. Actually since I've discovered it I've been just randomly reading their articles, and it's really fun to find out which is the best robot vacuum cleaner, or the best electric toothbrush on the market. And they give you options according to your budget. They don't just suggest you a super expensive thing that of course is good.

Anyway, they wrote an article about makeup brushes.
They looked at 16 brands, and 70 individual makeup brushes, they tested them out and consulted with makeup artists and they came out with a nice guide to makeup brushes shopping. It's actually fun to read, you should check it out! -- they explain their process and really explain their findings. And at the end they give you 3 options: Top Pick, Best Luxury Brand and Best On a Budget!

I decided that I wanted to get the Best On a Budget -- from ELF --  because I know I'm not going to use them that often. However, ELF doesn't ship here. That's the only downside... the suggested products may not be sold in your country. And getting it from amazon may make it more expensive...

But honestly I'm really enjoying this website, and I know a lot if you will like it too!

Hot Guys and Undershirts | Tommy John

Since it's still back to school season, I wanna teach you a lesson today. A lesson about undershirts, and how their can change a whole look!

In my office, guys have to wear suits. All the time. And there's nothing more hot than a guy in a nice suit! I mean, Let's just all admit it OK? Any guy looks hot in a suit! They look like classy hot gentlemen...
But then they take their jacket off, and that's when you get all disappointed! You see pit stains, you see hairs picking out of the shirt, you notice that they look kinda weird around the tummy... and that just takes all the classiness out of wearing a suit (and it's slightly disgusting!)  But you know why this happens? Because these guys are not wearing a good undershirt!
Guys usually just wear a regular white t-shirt under their shirt. But t-shirts are not made to be undershirts! They are too short, they get untucked through the day, ruffling and creating wear volume around the stomach area, or it doesn't handle sweat properly!  And if this is as uncomfortable as it sounds, I feel sorry for whoever wear these!

Thankfully, Tommy John, came out with the perfect undershirt. They made it very well fitted, and extra long, allowing it to stay tuck all day! And the cool part is that they not only offer 3 types of fabrics to keep guys comfortable in different conditions, but they also have 4 different necklines available so that guys can use it in any occasion, from buttoned up with a tie events to short sleeve in summer days!

Next time you need to buy a gift for one of the men in your life, check out Tommy John website. They sell THE best underwear for guys!

And in the meanwhile, you can always share this with all the hot guys in your office. I know I will!

Productivity Killeres at home and how to overcome them! | Luma Wifi

I hate working from home. I don't know exactly why but I can never ever really focus from home. I can't even work on my blog! And I've always been like this. When I was in college, I used to go to campus to study every day. And thank god my university has a few rooms that are open 24h for the students to go study and work, otherwise I don't know how I would be able to finish it. I spent so many nights there! And even today, I go to the office on weekends that I need to work. Or to Starbucks. I work better at Starbucks than at home!

And since Back to School Season is just around the corner -- can you believe summer is almost over?! -- I've decided to try and round up everything that I've found to be a productivity killer from my home and I tried to come up with some solutions for them!

1- Messy Desk

My desk, at home, is always messy. I mean, I have bills, junk mail, cords, products, old notes, and even cloths, on top of my desk And just the thought of having to clean up, clear some space, put everything where it belongs... Just kills my -- not that big in the fist place --  willpower. I'm sure this happens to you a lot too.
This has a very simple solution --  I need to be more careful where I leave my stuff. It is important to put everything in its rightful place right away. My mom always tried to teach me this. I guess she was right after all.

2- Food

Okey, I have to admit that food is one of the biggest distractions that I have at home. It just makes me waste so much time. Cooking, and cleaning up. Then I'm hungry again, I go to the fridge, than the pantry. I can't find any snack. I decided to go to the store, I buy a bunch of junk food. And the whole afternoon has just passed by.
This problem is something I've already dealt with, and this has been working super well for me. I've been buying food that I can cook that don't need to much supervision. I really like thinks that I can just stuck in my oven, like fish sticks or something like that. And I eat it with some salad. No mess at all, and just one dish to wash. As for the mid-afternoon snacks, I buy individually packed oatmeal cookies, and I buy just enough to last me one week. And I only eat one. Because If eat more than one, I won't have it for the next day. And I try to feel my self up with water and tea.

3- TV-Shows

Some people have a problems restraining their-selves from social media, I have a problem restraining my self from watching 10 seasons of a tv-show in a weekend. And I have no solution for this. I just can't allow myself to start watching any new TV-show if I have things to!

4- Slow Wifi

This is the thing -- I mean THE THING -- that annoys me the most in life. If I'm working from home, and I need to submit a file or access something from our cloud, and if the internet is not cooperating... OMG this just annoys me so much and makes me want to break my computer in half!
Solution: Luma Surround Wifi! This is the best wifi system I've every seen. It's the best! It helps you create your home network, showing you where you should place the routers to have an optimized network, so you can have super strong signal in all your rooms! The system is composed by 3 routers that you position throughout your house. You can control the system using an app on your phone, and the routers themselves are just super cute! It is a bit expensive, but I honestly think it's wort it. I would love to have this system on my home! You should definitely check it out! The routers really look like a piece of decor! Amazing and functional!

Can you work/study from home or are you just like me? And if you can, what is your secret?

Guys Gift Guide | Tommy John

Lets just get something straight -- buying gifts for guys is hard AF, okey? Specially if it's someone close. For example, last week was my BF's birthday. And I had no freaking idea what to get him... I ended up buying him a gigantic cake made entirely of candy -- which was a pretty fun, and original gift, and I know he loved it, but it wasn't exactly the best gift ever!

Since I don't want you to be giving lame gifts to men of your lives -- BF, dad, brother, stepdad, best-friend -- I've created a gift guide that I believe is suited for men all age, very classic and masculine.

One of the brands I'm showing you here is Tommy John. If you don't know Tommy John, it's a men's underwear store, that make super high quality underwear, Super comfortable “wedgie-proof” underwear, and undershirts that fit perfectly. My BF actually has a couple of boxer-shorts from this brand and he says it's the best he ever tried and that he is only sorry that he can't find them in portuguese stores! You have to check out their website: first because hot guys in underwear,! and second because they have some pretty funny commercials!

I hope you enjoy my suggestions, and let me know  in the comments what do you think is a great gift for a guy! I'm always looking for new ideas!
