A few years ago I thought that buying clothes online was insane. Not being able to touch the clothes, try them on, see how it feels, freaked me out. But now, I'm so used to it that it's just completely part of my routine now. This because there are so many great online stores that sell really stylish pieces at a much more affordable price!

Autumn is finnaly here. The time for cute boots and over-sized jackets has finally arrived... well not really because here in Lisbon we still have extremely hot days, with the temperatures going over 30ºC.

But since I'm already craving for cooler mornings, I decided that it was the right time to tell you all about Fashionmia and their Black Friday Outwear Sale!

Fashionmia it's another one of those websites that we all know and love because they sell cute and trendy clothing at some really affordable prices. They have an HUGE variety of products, but today we are going to talk about **trench coats for women --like the link**

I absolutely love long coats. They are the most comfortable thing to wear, when you have to get up super early to go to work. While I was browsing trough Fahionmia's I fell in love with these three. These are are so cute and that are absolutely perfect for my life.

The fist one is a very simple, elegant coat, perfect to go over a nice dress. I love how it's this blushy-coral ton, not too pinky nor too peachy. Really beautiful.

Another one that really caught my eye was this furry grey one. It just looks like the most comfortable thing in the world. Cozy and warm and fluffly. I could totally see my self wearing it. It's so edgy and trendy.

The last on is another very classic looking jacket... but with a twist! It has the color and shape of a traditional trench coat, but if you take a closer look at the picture you will see that it is actually made of a slicker material, it's supper fitted and it looks edgy and elegant at the same time! Love it!

I have to warn you --  these are not super super cheap, so some quality is expected. And I know that most of the time the pictures can be deseeving. And I bet you won't be seeing anyone with a jacket like yours walking down the street!

One of my favorite brands to work with is Embelleze Portugal! I love being a blogger ambassador and I love receiving and trying out all the goodies that they occasionally send me!

This time, they have kindly sent me two products from their Mystic Black line. I'm honestly excited to try these out! I have wavy hair. Not curly. Wavy. And I'm always straightening it because it's just easier to control. When I don't do it, my hair just gets all frizzy and tangled and it just looks bad. I'm going to try these out and see if they make any difference. It's says it's suitable for all hair types, so we'll see.  Oh, and I have to tell you -- these smell like magic.

It's funny to see how my taste in fancy dresses has changed throughout the years...

I used to prefer short dresses, don't really know why. Maybe because I think they're more jovial and fun. But lately I've been more drawn to for form fitting, classic with a twist, dresses. I still like simple dresses. With not that many embellishments. I still like soft colors... but I'm no longer attracted to dresses with a sweat hear neckline. It used to be my favorite style!

Since apparently my taste in dresses keeps changing, if I had to buy a fancy Homecoming Dress, for example, I would definitely opt to buy it online, to avoid wasting a huge amount of money.

INBOX | NOVEX Tentação Acida

Whenever I receive a package from Embelleze Portugal I get excited! I know that inside are some great goodies! And I wasn't wrong! This time they sent me this NOVEX TENTAÇÃO ACIDA kit!

I've actually got this in the mail a while back but I haven't had the opportunity to tell you all about it! 

It's a conditioner. And it's a very interesting product since it can be used in 3 different ways: as a pré-shampoo conditioner (add it to your dry hair, let it act for 5 minutes and then proceed with normal washing), as a regular conditioner or as a leave-in conditioner. I've used it in the 3 different ways, and the results are always de same -- soft, silky and shinny hair! I like the smell. It has a very fresh, floral smell, perfect for spring! And what I really like is the convenience of the spray bottle! I'm the type of girl that like simple, easy to apply products, and the fact that this comes in spray bottle and that I can just spray it all over my hair really quickly is an huge advantage! 

KYLIE Fakie

I know the KYLIE lippies fever has already passed, but I totally forgot I had this and that I wanted to show you. Looks legit right? Well, sorry to disappoint you but this is a fake! I bought it for 2$ on Dresslink. It works fine, and it's not obvious that it's a fake. You need to really know your shit and to look super closely to know that this is fake.

The shade I got is called  "Literally". And if you search on kyliecosmetics.com, it there's no matte liquid lipstick in this shade. They have tho, lip-gloss called literally. And mine it's a matte liquid lipstick -- fake alert!

The packaging tho, is pretty spot on. Although mine came with a stupid sticker glued on top, that ruins the box. The actual tube, it really close to the original -- at least from all the pictures I've seen online, I don't actually own an original one. I have no idea if the color is close to the original literally shade, but I love this shade. It is a brown-ish red, that looks super cool then it's all matte. It is not super sticky when you put it on, and one coat is more than enough. It dries super fast and it lasts on 4 or 5 hours, however it kinda looks weird when it starts to wear off. 

Although this is a fake product, I really enjoy using it. It doesn't taste bad, it doesn't have a funky smell. I really like expensive products, and you know that I always prefer luxury products. But this is a fine product. I was scared I was going to get a crazy rash or some weird allergy, but no. It's fine. 

Review | Asian Foot Peel Mask from Dresslink.com

This blog is also a place to talk about gross things right? Right... A few months ago I've received some peeling foot masks from Dresslink... I was super curious about trying something like this! I'd seen it all over the internet, and I was super excited when I laid my hands on these!

Yes, you red correctly --- peeling foot masks. These masks promise to make old skin magically fall off about a week after you apply the solution. In turn, baby-fresh skin is revealed and all that nasty, dry, dirty, rough and gritty skin is no more!  I have been kinda scared of trying them out. But I finally did it and I'm going to share with you my experience.

I'm not sure I did everything correctly because, you know, everything is in Chinese. But I did my best.

When you open the package, you find inside two plastic socks filled up with some weird liquid. You open these up, you stick your feet in it, put a sock over and you leave it in for around an hour.

The liquid smells like alcohol, or some sort of disinfectant. It doesn't hurt at all, it just feels cold and squishy. You can definitely walk around the house with these on your feet.

During the days after, me feet felt really dry and one week later the skin started to come off! It's crazy! You are not supposed to peel it off -- although it is incredibly satisfying to remove chunks of dead skin from you feet! After a few days all the skin of my feet had fell and they felt amazingly soft! Even the skin around my toes came off! It's strange and amazing at the same time! It took a while for all the skin to fall off, but when it did, my feet felt super nice and smooth!

I did some research: I was worried about what kind of chemicals were in this thing -- the ingredients are all in Chinese! But apparently it's some flesh eating enzymes. Completely harmless and safe! 

I just want to warn you that your feet will be peeling off during a few weeks, so don't do this if you are expecting nice sandals next weekend!

Millybridal UK | Two Pieces Wedding Dresses

I've talk here on the blog how I've never really wanted a big -- princess like -- wedding. It's not my thing. I don't even think I want to get married. It's a waste of money. You have to pay for the church, you have to pay for the food and catering, flowers, and everything else. I know, I know, it's a celebration of love and commitment, but can't we have all that without having to spend all that money ?

Anyway, If I ever get married, I want to have a super cool, edgy, unique wedding! I want a fun wedding, with 80's music, people dancing and having fun, out-doors in a place where we can see an awesome sunset. And for that I'd need a cool and fun dress! I think it would be cool to wear a *two-piece* dress! They are trending, and fun, and they don't seem so restraining and uncomfortable.

While browsing trough Millybridal UK I've found a few that fit my requirements. They offer a huge range of weeding dresses -- Wedding Dresses UK -- and of course they have a few two-piece ones. And they are dirt cheap! I feel like I could dance all night in any of these!

As a Christmas gift, Embelleze Portugal sent me these amazing products! I know, I know, Christmas was 2 months ago, but I'm a busy girl, ok?

I really like Novex's products! They make wonders! And I am dying to try these ones! It's a shampoo and a hair-mask!

INBOX | Dresslink goodies

I think I have a problem with all these online Asian stores that have all the things you can imagine in the world. I love expensive stuff, but I also love super cheap-y things, that look nice, and that I can wear, get dirty and used-up without feeling guilty.  I made a small order from Dresslink and I'm in love with what I got. 

This small black messenger bag is now my favorite bag ever. I use it every day -- it's small enough to keep it in my laptop backpack during the day, but big enough for me to carry my wallet, phone and keys for when I go out for lunch or a drink. And it looks way more expensive than it was! I love it so much!

I also got a KJ lippy. It's a fake, yeah. But I have to be honest, it works really well. It's super matte, it lasts hours and the color is super nice. I have no idea how it compares to the real deal, but I am so happy with it!

I also got a bunch of feet masks. These are supposed to work as the super famous "baby-feet" masks! What they are supposed to do is to make all your feet dead skin fall off, making your feet perfectly smooth! I haven't tried them yet TBH. Mostly because I haven't got the time, but also I'm a little bit scared. But I am going to do it and I'm going to show you all the progress, I swear!

The last thing I got -- and that to be honest it was a little bit disappointing -- was this mint green shoulder bag. When I saw it online I truly though this was bag -- I love the shape and the color, and it was the item that I was more excited about! But it turns out that this is more like a cosmetics bag. Although it has a place to add some straps, it didn't came with any. The lining looks really cheap and I don't really like it.

Just one last thing --  Once again I had a lot of problems with custom authorities. This package was stuck for maybe two months, and when I got it, I noticed that it had been opened (w/o my authorization or knowledge) and this really sucks. For me this is really the only issue with these online stores. I hate having to deal with all these bureaucratic issues. Argh.

Review | Novex Pra Bombar Hydrating Mask

I have to admit. When it comes to my hair I'm a bit careless. I wash it, blow dry it and straight it using a flat iron once a week.. And that's it. I usually don't use conditioner, or masks. Most of the times I even forget to heat protective spray. Yep, I'm that careless.

So when Embelleze sent me 1kg of the Novex Pra Bombar Hydrating Mask I was scared. I don't know what I am going to do with a gigantic bottle of hair nourishing marshmallow fluff ( I don't know how to describe it better, Ok? Don't judge me)

But since it arrived at my door step, I've being doing a effort to use it -- as a hair mask -- every time I wash I wash my hair normally,  then I apply a nice coat the mask, trying to focus more the product on the tips and I just leave in for 3 minutes, as recommended. After, I rinse it thoroughly. 

My first impression was that I didn't make my hair super soft and smooth, super easy to comb through, after applying it, like I'have experienced before with other conditioners or masks. It felt the same, which is good! Because for me usually that feeling comes with oily hair after two days, and that is unacceptable for me! And yeah, this product doesn't do that to me, YEY!

The mask it self has a ver nice fragrance -- I like it. And the smell actually lingers at in my hair for like two days!

I do feel like my hair is a bit stronger and more hydrated, specially on the ends. I can't say if it made it grow more or not, because my hair already grows at a pretty fast pace. But the difference is noticeable, at least for me. I only use it once a week, but I've red that if you use it more regularly, and if you use it paired with the Novex Pra Bombar Shampoo, it really makes your hair grow super fast!

Someone told me you can also apply this to your nails yo help them get stronger and to help them grow faster! 

Overall, I think this is an awesome hair mask, really! The only complaint that I have is wish that the bottle was smaller, because it's going to take me a lifetime to go thought this amount of product!

Yesterday I've received this box with a few goodies from Gamiss.com. This is another Asian-type store, that sells a huge variety of products, including cheap awesome cloths!

I haven't really used any of this products, but my first impression is that everything looks really nice. The quality is not bad at all. The bikini feels really nice but unfortunately it is a little too small for me (the panties are really small, but the top fits me really well. I ordered an M). But I love the pattern and the shape so much!

The watch, is OK.The bracelet doesn't look to shaggy. The only negative comment I have is the writing on the inside that does not appear in the picture on their website! And I don't like this letters on the inside, and for me makes the watch look like a cheap watch.

But the pièce de résistance is really the top. I am really obsessed with this top. I love the colors, the fabric is just super soft and flowy. It really looks -- and feels -- super expensive, no joke. I know I'm going to wear this top for work all the time! It came with a tag that shows how much it could be sold for. But it was super cheap -- like 5 or 6 euros! And because of this, it has sold out completely on the website! This is why I love this store. You can find really nice stuff, for a really small price! You should definitely check it out.

It's one of the most satisfying things ever... too peel off that mask and to see all the black heads attached to it. I've bought this exact one, once off Amazon, and it works really well.

There's also have something that I'm drying to try -- and that I'm differently going to order! -- this feet masks [5] that make all of you feet' dead skin fall off! It's gross and awesome at the same time!

Miaberlin.de | Evening and Prom dresses

I've told you before about how I did not wear a dress to my high-school prom, right? I know -- I'm not a normal girl. And yes, I regret that decision now. Specially because I keep finding really awesome websites selling gorgeous prom dresses. Today I'm showing you Miaberlin.de. It's a German online-shop that sells the most stunning Brautkleider (dresses)! They have prom dresses, long and short, evening and wedding dresses. I've browsed through their website and here are a two of my favorites my favorites!

This is an Abendkleider Lang (Long evening dress). It made off what it seams to be an extremely soft, flowy chiffon. It is available in all the colors of the rainbow but I think this sky-blue is super beautiful and perfect for the summer.. I love the crossing of the straps on the back.

And this one, OMG it is stunning! I LOVE this dress! I love the bohemian feeling about it. I saw it in the Hochzeitskleider (weeding dresses) section! But it is so gorgeous! I think I could wear it as a normal party-dress! They actually have an huge selection of wedding dresses and they are all stunning. But this one... gosh. I could see my self getting married at a beach with this dress!

 

Review | ORIFLAME Very Me Smoothie Foundation & No Time For Shine Powder

I'm not a foundation type of girl. Usually I prefer BB or CC creams. My skin is not that bad, and to be honest I don't need a lot of coverage. But when Ana Dinis told me about this foundation I was super excited to try it! So I got the foundation and the matching powder in Ivory. Turns out, they are too light for my skin... But I can make it work with some bronzer. I have this rule -- when in doubt always go for the lighter one. You can always bronze it up!

I've used them both a few times now, and I have to say I really like them. The foundation claims to have berry and yogurt extract, and this gives it a super sweet smell -- just like bubble gum! It's really nice. The texture is very runny (almost liquid like), which I really like. It almost reminds me of those weightless foundations that are so trendy right now. It is very smooth and glides on super easily. It blends seamlessly onto the skin and you won't find any harsh lines even if applied in a hurry.

As for the finish, it is slightly dewy. But it feels very light and comfortable on the skin, And it's not sticky at all. The coverage, yeah, it's light to medium I'd say. But it really turns down the redness and evens out the completion. What more could you ask for?!

As for the powder -- I love the name! It became my go-to powder. It's matte and it is great to do some touch ups during the day.  I love the pattern on the little sponge it comes with, it's super girly and I just love that pop of color. You know I'm a sucker for cute packaging!  And speaking of packaging -- I've actually read some reviews saying that the lid breaks off easily. Mine is perfectly fine. I've been taking it with me every day to work. And I think I've even dropped it a couple of times and it's as good as new.
