Review | Asian Foot Peel Mask from Dresslink.com

This blog is also a place to talk about gross things right? Right... A few months ago I've received some peeling foot masks from Dresslink... I was super curious about trying something like this! I'd seen it all over the internet, and I was super excited when I laid my hands on these!

Yes, you red correctly --- peeling foot masks. These masks promise to make old skin magically fall off about a week after you apply the solution. In turn, baby-fresh skin is revealed and all that nasty, dry, dirty, rough and gritty skin is no more!  I have been kinda scared of trying them out. But I finally did it and I'm going to share with you my experience.

I'm not sure I did everything correctly because, you know, everything is in Chinese. But I did my best.

When you open the package, you find inside two plastic socks filled up with some weird liquid. You open these up, you stick your feet in it, put a sock over and you leave it in for around an hour.

The liquid smells like alcohol, or some sort of disinfectant. It doesn't hurt at all, it just feels cold and squishy. You can definitely walk around the house with these on your feet.

During the days after, me feet felt really dry and one week later the skin started to come off! It's crazy! You are not supposed to peel it off -- although it is incredibly satisfying to remove chunks of dead skin from you feet! After a few days all the skin of my feet had fell and they felt amazingly soft! Even the skin around my toes came off! It's strange and amazing at the same time! It took a while for all the skin to fall off, but when it did, my feet felt super nice and smooth!

I did some research: I was worried about what kind of chemicals were in this thing -- the ingredients are all in Chinese! But apparently it's some flesh eating enzymes. Completely harmless and safe! 

I just want to warn you that your feet will be peeling off during a few weeks, so don't do this if you are expecting nice sandals next weekend!

Worten -- you know, that place you go when you need to buy some sort of gadgety-thingy -- now has a Lifestyle section,with a myriad of products ranging from home and decoration to photography and home technology! And they have really cute stuff! I looked around and selected a few pieces that I think would look great in my place! I love -- I mean LOVE -- these lamps!

And can someone explain me why suddenly I'm so into this 70's vibe?

How to become Alice

Alice in Wonderland was always one of my favorite movies growing up. The simple, brilliant concept of a child finding a portal to another world, is just amazing. Who wound't want to find a magic world, filled with magic creatures, tea-parties and a crazy Mad Hatter?
I've chosen a nice white and blue dress, and a few accessories that go with it, that I think all have subtle references to the character! What do you think?

Review | GLAMGLOW PowerMud face mask

If by now you haven't heard about Glamglow and their amazing face-masks, I don't know what planet you live in. All social media has been completely flooded with pictures and videos of people using Glamglow products, specially their GravityMud peel off silver face mask! I decided that was time for me to try out one of these masks, and let me tell you -- I was not disappointed!

When I went to the store to get it, I had my mind set on the GravityMud . But while talking to the beauty consultant there, she advised me to get this one instead, as it is the best suited for younger skins. And basically what my skin really needs is a cleansing mask.

The packaging is simple but with a very luxurious feeling about it. You have to fiddle a bit with the box until you actually get to the pot. It's cool. It calls you sexy. It's a cool detail.

When I took these pictures, I had used this mask three times, and as you can see there is still a lot of product, so I think that despite being an expensive product -- I got it for around 50€ -- you get your money worth.

It's a mud mask, so the consistency of the product is quite interesting. Very very soft, wet and cold, with some little granules of something. You are supposed to apply it all over your face - avoiding the outline of the eyes - wait about 20 minutes, or until it is fully dry. Then clean it thoroughly with a cloth and lukewarm water, using a circular motion to promote some exfoliation.

I'm loving this mask! It makes me feel super clean, it feels really good on the skin! The smell is amazing! It's almost like a home spa treatment! Really really good. Totally worth the money.

Millybridal UK | Two Pieces Wedding Dresses

I've talk here on the blog how I've never really wanted a big -- princess like -- wedding. It's not my thing. I don't even think I want to get married. It's a waste of money. You have to pay for the church, you have to pay for the food and catering, flowers, and everything else. I know, I know, it's a celebration of love and commitment, but can't we have all that without having to spend all that money ?

Anyway, If I ever get married, I want to have a super cool, edgy, unique wedding! I want a fun wedding, with 80's music, people dancing and having fun, out-doors in a place where we can see an awesome sunset. And for that I'd need a cool and fun dress! I think it would be cool to wear a *two-piece* dress! They are trending, and fun, and they don't seem so restraining and uncomfortable.

Super Bowl 2017

I really didn't enjoy this year's Super Bowl Half-Time show. Lady Gaga was weird, and for me the whole show was strange, and not that fancy. Not mind-blowing, not even cool. Did you like it?

These little cups, are filled with a velvety chocolate ganche that is spiced with Calem Port Wine. They are so good. As soon as you open the sleeve where they come in, you can smell the chocolatiness and the sweetness of the port wine. And once you bit them, you just can't stop eating them.
