Review | GlamGlow Glowstarter

I really like GlamGlow products. And I don't think we hear enough about it. No matter how much I want to dislike these products -- because of their high price -- they always win me over.
You've probably seen on youtube videos about its amazing and stunning face masks -- you know, the metallic blue one that you can peel of your face, for example. ( I think that's the most famous one).

I love these masks, and I've tried a few different ones. The silver-y peel off -- GravityMud -- is a staple in my bathroom. I'm on my third pot, and I absolutely love it. It's a lot of fun to put on and even more fun to peel off. And makes my skin all soft and thigh! It's amazingly good.
I've also tried one of their mud/clay masks -- the one that come in the bright green pot -- PowerMud. It's extremely good to clean your pores and all that jazz.

But today we are going to talk about one of their face moisturizers.
This is their Glowstarter in Nude. It's a multi-tasking tinted moisturizer that delivers instant hydration and a dewy healthy-looking glow, all in one step. It's supposed to give your skin a perfect hydrated glow, boosting the look of dull, fatigued skin -- perfect for my life! And best of all, you can wear it alone or under or make up.

I've been using this as my daily moisturizer, the one that I put on every morning before getting out of the house. And yes, this is very hydrating -- I usually have some dry spots on my face and this deals with them perfectly. It's a very light and thin formula, and it absorbs right away. And it looks so beautiful on the pot. It's golden and and silky, just so luxurious! It smells delightful. It has a very sweet smell, almost like candy -- It's smell of orange and vanilla. Not my favorite type of scent but I can live with it. The glow  it gives to the skin is really nice, and looks very natural. As the product sinks in, that initial highlighter effect fades a little bit, but you do keep a nice healthy glow.

It works really well under my foundation as well, actually it works amazingly as a primer -- my foundation was smooth and there was no flaking off or crumbling of any kind.
The only thing that I think it's missing is SPF. I like to wear this alone, and it doesn't make me greasy or shinny. And my skin feels soo soft all day!

EAT | La Boulangerie, Lisbon

Croissants are life. And I am always looking for the best croissants. So when The Girl In Clouds suggested us to go to this amazing boulangerie, I was damn excited. And there we went on a Sunday afternoon, to chat a bit about life.

We had tea, and of course, croissants. Both delicious. It's a really small space --  I mean REALLY small -- with only 3 tables inside! But the space is so cool! Specially because you can see directly into the kitchen. Yep, the kitchen it's completely open. They don't even have a glass -- just a counter separating the sitting area from the place where they make all kinds of delicious puffy treats. And this fills the space with that warm smell of freshly baked goods that just comforts your soul.

Last weekend I went to Kiehl's specifically to get this product -- their Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate with Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid. It's supposed to help decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and to improve skin radiance and texture. I've read really great things about it. All Kiehl's products are amazing and, from my experience, they all deliver! I've used a bunch of their products and they are all extremely good -- but also extremely expensive. This little 50ml bottle costs 59€... but I have some fine lines on my forehead and on my smile line that slightly bother me... And if this works, it's totally worth the money.

If you haven't tried anything from Kiehl's, you totally should. Plus they give you samples of almost  anything -- even if you don't buy anything.

Empties #11 | All things good

Wow.
It has been a while since I've wrote an empties post. And to be honest, it's because of two reasons: One, I'm frugal and I use every single drop of everything before officially trowing it out, and Two, I'm a creature of habits, and when I like something I stick to it and you would be basically seeing the same empties every month. And these products here are not new here, but good things are meant to be remembered, right?

- GLAMGLOW GravityMud Firming Treatment. This is a cool product. It's a mud-based, peel-off face mask designed to tighten the appearance of skin that changes color from white to a brilliant chrome! It's really good, works super well and it's extremely fun to do! Will I repurchase it? YES -- Already did actually!

- GARNIER Skin Active Micellar Water. It's my favorite micellar water. It does it job perfectly and it's not too expensive. A staple in my bathroom! Will I repurchase it? Yes, but first I'm curios to try the Nivea one. Have any you tired it?

- SEPHORA Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover. Another staple. It removes any evidence of black waterproof mascara! It's amaizing, really. And cheap. Will I repurchase it? Yes, already did -- can't live my life without it!

- RIMMEL Match Perfection Skin Tone Adapting Concealer -- 040 Soft Beige. For a long time this was my favorite concealer. This shade was absolutely perfect for my skin. But I ended up forgetting about it. And now the tube is almost empty, so it's going in the trash. Will I repurchase it? I don't know. I have others that I like, and I don't really feel like I need another concealer...
